throwin’ gang signs

I’ve been thinking about geeky gang signs a little bit. Specifically, there’s:

  1. We should start using “four” as a cryptic reference to giving someone the finger. Or “100” in binary.

  2. I guess it takes two hands to be in the vim gang.

But then, it takes three hands to be in the emacs gang.

  3. I’m probably going to add some more geeky gang sings to this list. In fact, I added one after you posted these comments.

I think of vi as a family, including Vim, elvis, nvi, et cetera. No need for another hand to do the M.

  4. I liked the web developer gang sign. Head tag indeed. groan

BTW, Sterling, check out Think Geek’s “Binary Finger” t-shirt. ;)

I actually own one of those (in black). It has the symbol for “4” in binary on the hand on the front of the shirt. Hehe. ;)
