top version 3.6 improvements will be merged with the 3.5 fork used in FreeBSD, Ted Mittelstaedt addressed how to help merge changes. Among the steps he outlined, this was my favorite:
Read the license and make sure some bozo hasn’t GNUified it.
Obviously, you’re likely to disagree it’s the “best” such comment this week if you’re on the FSF bandwagon. I’m not, thankfully.
