They hate me! They really hate me! I've finally arrived.
I think it must be a sign of growing popularity that people are finding websites other than my own via search terms that say bad things about me. From an IM log, where @ is me and sterling is, well, Sterling:
(15:40:34) sterling: hello
(15:40:45) @: How goes?
(15:40:52) sterling: someone found my site via this google search:
http://www.google.com/search?q=chad perrin pisses me off(15:41:04) @: That's hilarious.
(15:41:20) @: I'm going to have to blog that, you know.
(15:41:32) sterling: but of course
Notice anything odd about that? How about the fact that the Google search terms that led someone to Sterling's website was chad perrin pisses me off?
(note 1: I edited some irrelevant browser character set stuff out of the URL.)
(note 2: No, "sterling" is not his real IM name, nor is "@" really mine.)

I still love you. (;

[...] Congratulations, Chad! You’ve graduated from having the occasional comment troll to celebrity hate searches. Next level: cyberstalkers. [...]

Thanks, Joseph! I guess you're not the one doing that search.

I think it would be a very awesome thing if you changed your name to @.
You can also find a link to my site if you look deeply enough in the search results. Probably because of my pimpage here. Let's face it: you live for this stuff. ;-)
